West Virginia Association for Career and Technical Education Wins Two National Awards

San Antonio, Texas – The West Virginia Association for Career and Technical Education (WV ACTE) achieved national recognition at the annual meeting of the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) held on December 7, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas. WV ACTE proudly received two prestigious awards, solidifying its commitment to excellence in CTE.

The first honor, the Quality Association Standards (QAS) for 2024, acknowledges state associations that demonstrate exemplary performance and provide exceptional service to their members and prospective members. This award sets benchmarks for state associations, encouraging them to continuously elevate their standards and enhance the experience for CTE professionals.

WV ACTE was also celebrated for its impressive growth, earning the Highest Percentage of New Members in ACTE Award. This accolade highlight’s WV ACTE’s dedication to expanding its reach and engaging new educators and professionals in the mission to advance CTE across the state.
